“Cyclists, don’t miss the 2nd edition of the DYNASTAR KV COURCHEVEL! On Wednesdays 19 July, 2 August and Tuesday 15 August: Get on your bike”.
Meet at the Carrey roundabout at the foot of the Courchevel resort from 6 pm and off you go for a 15.5 km climb with 1,000 m of elevation gain, as a time trial, to reach Courchevel 1850 on rue du Jardin Alpin!
A good atmosphere and conviviality will be the order of the day.
A race open to all levels… riders on small gears start first and those on big gears follow their wheel, finishing around a well-deserved aid station.
► COURCHEVEL X3 KV CHALLENGE 2018
The Dynastar KV Courchevel are qualifying races for the 2018 “Courchevel X3 KV Challenge”.
To be ranked in the 2018 “Courchevel X3 KV Challenge”, you must take part at least once in each of the 3 Vertical Kilometre events held in Courchevel. To do so, you will need to put on your trainers for the Plum KV Courchevel 2017, get on your bike for the Dynastar KV Courchevel 2017 and strap on your touring skis for the Plum KV Courchevel 2018.
To compile the standings for this 2018 “COURCHEVEL X3 KV CHALLENGE”, the best trail, cycling and ski mountaineering times will be taken and added together for each participant. (See rules in the menu bar)
The 3 best overall men’s and women’s times of each climb will be rewarded with DYNASTAR prizes, followed by a prize draw among all participants.
For the best men’s and women’s time of the 2017 season in cycling: €500 prize money.
Fee: €10/climb
Time trial starts from 6 pm, and on Tuesday 15 August from 10 am.
Registration at the Carrey start from 5 pm to 5.45 pm, and on Tuesday 15 August from 9 am to 9.45 am.
