62 competitors had gathered for this 14th round of the Dynafit Ski Touring Courchevel. With a time of 25min36s, Cyrille Gardet of the Ski Team Crest-Voland completed the 3.2 km ski mountaineering climb from Le Praz to Courchevel 1850 and won this new round. Lionel Claudepierre of the club Moûtiers Haute Tarentaise with a time of 26min22s came second ahead of William Perrier of the Club Multisports d’Arêches Beaufort in 27min02s. On the women’s side, it was Armelle Favre of CAF Vanoise who came out on top, climbing onto the highest step of the podium with a time of 34min23s ahead of Christine Gachet of the same club in 35min16s and Claire Blanc Gayrard of the Club Multisports d’Arêches Beaufort in 35min21s.

Since 14 December the Wednesdays have gone by, and participants' enthusiasm for this original race keeps growing, thanks to all the volunteers of the Courchevel Sports Alpinisme association, who remain passionate and run these climbs with a master’s touch so that atmosphere and friendliness remain the strengths of this event.

Among the entrants were Philippe Mugnier, Deputy Mayor of the commune of Saint-Bon Courchevel, who finished this climb in 47min57s. He was pleasantly surprised by the number of competitors and the importance this discipline has taken on in recent years. Other figures of the resort also took part in this round: Benoit Boitte, Director of the commune’s Technical Services, who finished in 38min44s, Philippe Capezzone , a luxury hotel manager, who finished in 59min12s, Jean-Marc Sullice , who has developed a taste for the climb, finishing in 48min09s, not forgetting Aymerick Bonnier and Romain Cavagna of the Club Courchevel Sports Alpinisme, who came to make their final adjustments before taking on the Pierra Menta next week.
